Trash Talks with Polly Mermaid
A digital performance for All Ages (6 & up)
Join Polly Mermaid and her friend Basurana as they tackle global environmental problems with puppetry, humor, and optimism.

Trash Talks with Polly Mermaid is a hilarious and engaging video series featuring Polly (a plastic mermaid) and her friend Basurana (a frog puppet made from plastic trash) as they explore sustainable solutions to our current waste systems and single-use plastic.

Created in the style of a YouTube video, Polly tries to understand the human habit of discarding plastic in her ocean, and sets up a challenge to see whether humans can live with less single use plastic.  Adapted from the live show that won Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Puppetry and was described “like The Little Mermaid was imagineered not by Disney, but by the Pee-wee’s Playhouse gang.”

Created by and featuring Indigo Rael as Polly Mermaid and Caroline Reck as the puppetry force behind Basurana the Trash Frog, plus other various puppets. Including a cameo from Noel Gaulin.
